Ft. Gibson French Drain – April 2018
This customer at Ft. Gibson Lake in Oklahoma had water running from a higher elevation down toward his home, which was causing water to get into the basement. We installed a french drain and a channel drain on this property to move the excess rain water right into the lake.
Video 1: A project overview of this Ft. Gibson french drain that we installed in April 2018. We cover why the drain was necessary and give our general game plan for this property to correct the drainage issues.
Video 2: A look at the progress of the Ft. Gibson french drain project showing the trench and explaining some challenges that we ran into while digging the trench.
Video 3: Another progress video of the Ft. Gibson french drain project. An open trench covered by river rock looks great and collects a LOT of excess rain water, moving it away from the house and down toward the lake. The last step of this project is to install a channel drain in front of the garage, which is covered in the final walk-through video.
Final Walk-Through, Video 4: A final walk-through of our Ft. Gibson french drain project, showing the french drain, clean-outs, channel drain and more.
